By using What's My Enneagram Type (the “site”) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. It's a free tool published by the Leading Between The Lines newsletter, offered as-is.

What this test is — and isn't

This is a self-report Enneagram test for personal insight and entertainment. It reflects how you describe yourself on the day you take it. It is not a clinical assessment, a psychological or medical diagnosis, a fitness-for-duty evaluation, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Do not use your result to make consequential decisions about yourself or anyone else — for hiring, medical, legal, or similar decisions, consult an appropriate professional.

Accuracy and no guarantees

We built the test carefully and score it with an original, calibrated method, but no personality test is perfectly accurate, and the Enneagram has a weaker scientific evidence base than trait measures like the Big Five. We make no warranty that your result is correct or complete. When your answers don't point clearly to one type, we tell you so rather than force a label.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for your own personal, non-commercial insight.
• Don't attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or automate submissions to the site, or interfere with its operation or security.
• Don't submit false information or another person's details without their consent.

Intellectual property

The Enneagram framework itself — its nine types, their motivations, the wings, and the circle — is a generic, widely used model that anyone may describe. The specific test items, our original type names, the scoring engine, and the written profiles on this site are our own work and may not be copied or republished without permission. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or derived from any proprietary Enneagram instrument or organization; any such names, where mentioned in comparison content, belong to their respective owners.

Your submission

When you submit the test you grant us permission to store and process your answers and result as described in our Privacy Policy, including anonymized use to improve the instrument. You keep responsibility for the accuracy of what you enter.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on your result.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
